AlbaCore in the Community

AlbaCore's Charity Match Program

Every calendar year we match our team's donations to initiatives of their choice, up to £500 per year. This year so far, we have matched donations to the following charities: The Trussell Trust, Refuge, Shelter, St Barnabas Hospice Trust, Ukrainian Action and more.

Holiday Charity Initiative

Every holiday season in December, in lieu of a paper greetings card, AlbaCore donates to a charity of the team's choice. In 2024 we donated to Shelter, a charity helping millions of people struggling with bad housing and homelessness through its offering of advice, support and legal services.

The AlbaCore Capital Studentship

Since our inception, AlbaCore has believed that the Financial Services industry has a vital role to play in addressing climate-related challenges. We are proud to expand our commitment to this cause through the AlbaCore Capital Studentship, a DPhil award at the University of Oxford, which supports innovative research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, the climate and the environment. The Studentship recipient, Darina Andriychenko, will focus on pioneering research in the use of AI in quantifying extreme weather events. By empowering talented researchers like Darina, we aim to help contribute to meaningful progress in addressing the impact of carbon on the environment.
